The MvM insert is great for storage/transport, but terrible from a gameplay setup/usability perspective (though still much better than most factory inserts!)
The minion trays take up far too much space on the table, and to setup the game, you must remove 80% of the contents of the box to get to the game board and player boards which are the first things you want to setup for a game.
Card sleeves fit in the trays, but theyre not deep enough to hold all the cards when they're sleeved!
Then even with the minion trays covering half the table there's still more random minions throughout the other pieces of the insert

Minion containers are easily filled by slotting one into each slot going clockwise - each slot can hold 3 aside from the ones in the corner when they interlink, so between the two corner slots, one will have 3 the other will have 2, all center slots will have 3, equalling 32 minions per tray - no fidgiting required! just drop them into their slots!
There is an extra container to fill the space left - I use it to store sleeves for any cards that are unlocked during gameplay (currently just finished mission 3!) and to store 4 of the minions which dont fit in the 3 minion containers (at least if you dont want to spend forever angling each one to fit perfectly)
While the insert is intended to be stored horizontally, the lid on the coins/dice will allow it to be stored vertically, but the jewels 'may' come off their pegs, everything else is held securely vertically.
